The proposed STEM Education Center has a projected cost of $64 million. UCR is leasing the land to RUSD, saving the District significant land acquisition costs. Funds from Measure O, a bond passed by voters in 2016, are expected to fund approximately one half of the project cost. The remainder of the STEM Education Center funding will be through CTE grants and state funding.
